Adult Mental Health Support and advice for parents

The Family Information Service is a good source of information for parents and can signpost to the support you need. In addition, there is a wealth of support out there for parents. We have tried to include as many as we can below so you can access the right support at the right time.

Coventry and Warwickshire 'Mind' offers Mental health support for adults in our local area, including one-to-one support, drop-in hubs and courses and workshops, all tailored to support individuals in the ways that suit them best.

Togetherall is an online self-accessible emotional wellbeing resource for adults within Warwickshire and can help to support the emotional wellbeing of parents.

Young Minds have lots of practical advice and tips on supporting your child - from how to encourage your child to open up about their feelings to dealing with mental health services. No matter what you and your child are going through, things can get better.

They also have our Parents Helpline who can provide advice and support if you're worried about a child or young person and a webchat facility.

This guide is very informative for parents of children who have talked about or who are self-harming.

This Warwickshire County Council webpage contains a huge amount of links for different types of support so you can access exactly what you need to help.
