Knex Challenge

Year 5 and 6 were pushed to their engineering limits when they were asked to make windmills from Knex! Our link school in Kenilworth, Park Hill Junior school also took on the challenge at the same time so we were able to Facetime them and share our structures.

All of the children had to design their windmills as well as meeting the different criteria set by the Knex masters John and Gordan!

The children used their problem solving skills to plan, construct, adapt, and reconstruct their windmills and also had to work well as a team, they were all scored on these different aspects and thoroughly enjoyed this activity. Well done to all of Year 5 and 6 you were great engineers!
